Strothman, William J. 70 of Louisville passed away Monday February 11, 2019 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was a United States Army National Guard of Kentucky Veteran, a retired Pipe Fitter from Phillip Morris, a member of the Pipe Fitter’s Union, and a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria (Kohler) Strothman; parents, Paul L. and Agnes Rose Strothman, and brother, John Strothman.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly M. Sullivan (Dave) and Ashley D. Strothman; son, Chadwick A. Strothman (Halie); grandchildren, Kaden Strothman, Riley, Reese, Cameron, and Cooper Sullivan, and Shiloh and Lincoln Hughes; siblings, Joyce Surbough (Jerry), Thomas Strothman (Mary Ann), Monica Ashcraft (Kenny), Michael Strothman (Pam), Paul Strothman Jr., Robert Strothman (Joyce), Mary Kathleen Weiter “Sis” (John), Mary Ann Amaro, and David Strothman (Brenda); and too many nieces and nephews to count. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday February 14, 2019 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church will entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday February 13, 2019 at Ratterman Funeral Home 12900 Shelbyville Rd.
