Obituary for William L. Bungard William L. Bungard, 71, of Washington Twp. , went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in his home. A son of the late William and Grace Underwood Bungard, he was born in Mt.
Pleasant on October 22, 1947. He had resided for the past 28 years in Belle Vernon and was formerly of Scottdale. He had been a supervisor for 35 years at Duraloy Technology of Scottdale.
For the past five years, he worked in security at Rostraver Elementary School and truly loved the faculty and students there. He and his wife enjoyed crafts together. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Barbara, with whom he would have celebrated 49 years of marriage on January 17, 2019, one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Donald Panepinto of Belle Vernon, his grandson, who was the love of his life and his fishing buddy, Nathan Panepinto, four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Florence Thomas of Mt.
Pleasant, Hazel Tempest (Mike) of Mt. Pleasant, Janet and Randy Shawley of Latrobe and Doris and Larry Carlan of Latrobe, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ray Bungard and Norman and Betty Bungard, all of Mt. Pleasant, and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Diane and Ken Lang of Monongahela, Donna Boartley of Washington, Debra and Ted Lenart of Donora, Gary and Laura Rhodes of Charleroi and Jim and Sherry Rhodes of Monongahela.
Bill will be missed by all that knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Richard and Walter Bungard and his buddy, Rocky. Friends will be received 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon.
