William L. Young, 80, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018. A life resident of the Akron area. He suffered from a rare genetic disorder called HHT since his childhood and was a member of AA with 33 years of continuous sobriety.

Survived by his loving wife, Janet Young (nee Kline); daughter, Teri (Matt) Westfall; son, Scott Young; beloved dog, “Coco”; brothers, Jerry and Charlie Young; several grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sallie (Jesse) Rivera and brother-in-law, Rick (Tammy) Watson. Following Bill’s request, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.

Donations may be made to the Summit County Humane Society in Bill’s memory.
