William McKinley Carson, age 78 of Clinton, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born on December 15, 1939 in Scott County, TN, he was the son of the late Bailey Carson and Orpha Mae Chambers Carson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

William is survived by his wife of 52 years Myrtle (Midge) Carson; children, William Carson, II of Clinton, TN and Eric Carson of Monroe, Michigan; sister, Sarah Lawson and husband Robert of Fairview; brother, Obal Carson of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren Matthew Carson Moore, Amanda Carson, Colton Carson and Wyatt Carson; and two great-grandchildren Gracian Carson and Isaiah Martin. William’s request was cremation. West-Murley Funeral Home is serving the family of William McKinley Carson.
