William Paul Ezzell, age 74 of Whiteville, met his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center in Whiteville. Born on March 4, 1944, he was the son of the late Odell William Ezzell and Alma Mae Richardson Ezzell. Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by five siblings, Alene Andrews, Alice Hewett, Roger Ezzell, Rudolph Ezzell and Alma E. Blythe.

A Graveside service commemorating Paul’s life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Ezzell Family Cemetery in Nakina, with Pastor Brad Hardwick officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00, Wednesday evening at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. Paul leaves behind his daughters, Lorraine W. Pigott on Aynor, SC, Sarah L. Watts of Chadbourn, Judy W. Jordan of Raleigh, Barbara Jo Ezzell of Whiteville; son, Timmy Wayne Ezzell of Whiteville; 15 Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.

Worthington Funeral Home is serving the Ezzell Family.
