William R. Waller, 70, passed away on July 8, 2018, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his daughters. He was the husband of Nancy Pender Waller, and they shared 50 years of marriage together. Born in Nassawadox, VA, he was a son of the late Hilton G. Waller and Gertrude C. Waller.

He attended Central High School, and graduated from Cox High School. He retired from Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control, where he worked over 35 years. Wisky Ricky was born and raised on the Eastern Shore, and loved all the things that made the Eastern Shore a wonderful place to live.

He loved people, and loved telling stories. He is survived by his wife, Nancy P. Waller of Onley, VA; his two daughters, Amy W. Hartman, and her husband James P. Hartman, of Accomac, VA, and Martha G. Waller of Salisbury, MD; grandchildren, Kristen and Anna Hartman; brother, Roland T. Waller, and his wife Kathy, of Brunswick, GA; niece, Amanda Owens, and her spouse Daniel, of Darien, GA; nephew, Jacob Waller of Missouri; and great-niece, Kinsley Owens of Darien. The funeral service will be held at Williams-Onancock Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., with interment following at the Wachapreague Cemetery.

The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to S.P.C.A. , P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418, or to Riverside Shore Hospice, P.O. Box 616, Onley, VA 23418.
