William Robert Hardesty, age 75, of Angola, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Mr. Hardesty was born July 26, 1943 in Ithaca, New York to the late Russell and Angela (Perry) Hardesty. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1961–63.

He married Connie Jo Cook in 1988 and she preceded him in death on February 14, 1994. Bill was a cook at the Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park, Angola and Hall’s Restaurant, Fort Wayne. He was a member of the Orland American Legion Post 423.

Survivors include: Son, William and Misty Hardesty of Fremont. Daughter, Robin Baker of Payne, Ohio. Daughter, Danielle Daugherty of Fort Wayne.

8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Companion of 20 years, Sharon Lyons of Angola and her children and grandchildren. Brother, Clare Hardesty of Theresa, New York.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Angola American Legion Post 31, 1760 West Maumee Street, Angola. Arrangements by Northern Indiana Funeral Care of Fort Wayne.
