William “Tom” Montgomery, 66, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home with his loving family. He was born on August 3, 1951 to the late Chester Montgomery and Hazel Goodlett. Mr. Montgomery honorably served his country in the United States Army and worked for the United States Postal Service.

He was a member of the Bunker Hill Christian Church and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose (Sellersburg). Mr. Montgomery had a passion for wood working, hunting and playing games on his computer. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy Montgomery and Chester Montgomery.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Montgomery of Salem, Indiana, his sons, Thomas W. Montgomery of Louisville, W. Anthony Montgomery (Victoria) of Charlestown, his daughter, Michelle McGuyer of Henryville, Indiana, his brother, Charlie Montgomery (Georgia) of Lafayette, Indiana, his sisters, Mae Garrett of Louisville and Marrisa Flanagan (Bobby) of Clarksville, Indiana. Mr. Montgomery also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery located in Madison, Indiana.

Visitation will take place on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www. garrfuneralservices.com.
