Obituary of William Elmer King William “Bill” Elmer King, age 79, of Randleman died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Clapp’s Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mr. King was born January 8, 1940 the son of John and Edna Langley King, Sr.Bill was a native of Randolph County and retired from the US Air Force with over 25 years of service. After retirement from the service he repaired furniture for 30 years.

He was a straight to the point guy with a good sense of humor that loved children and his special K-9 companions, Slugger and Baby. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brothers, J.C King and Butch King. He is survived by his daughter: Wendy Moody and husband Brian of Asheboro; close friend, Carolyn Thomas of Ramseur; sisters: Carolyn King Gantt of High Point, and Linda King of Randleman; brother: Ray King of Ramseur.
