Obituary of William Albert William H. Albert, 77, of Albany, entered fully into the presence of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 19, 2018following a valiant battle with cancer at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. Born March 21, 1941 in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Marie Drapeau Albert. William was the owner of William H. Albert Plumbing & Heating in Albany for over 51 years.

His children commented on how their beloved father taught them very important work ethics as their father was such a genius at everything they did in his business. He and his wife Faith are the founders of the Forever Joyful Ministry, which started in 1988, which minister to inner city youths ages 5-20 years old. Currently this ministry is and has transformed young lives through the love of Jesus Christ.

This ministry also puts on Jesus concerts, do bible memorization, etc. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son; William H. Albert, Jr. Survivors include his wife and best friend Faith Carleton Albert whom he married on April 19, 1969, his loving children; Patrick Henry (Dana) Albert, Veronica (Wade) Stanton, Charlotte (Randy) Ash, one brother Larry Albert, three sisters; Betty Nolette, Peggy (Al) Joslin and Marion (Howard) Lamphier, nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Clifton Park Center Baptist Church 713 Clifton Park Center Road Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Clifton Park Center Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in William’s memory to Forever Joyful Ministry 708 Western Avenue Albany, New York 12203. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, New York 12065.
