Obituary for Mrs. Willie Ferguson-King Ms. Willie L. Ferguson-King of Greenville, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 15, 2018. She was born on January 17, 1949 in Louisville, Mississippi to the late Roman and Minnie Ferguson. Ms. Willie became a member of Koinonia Christian Center Church under the leadership of Bishop Rosie S. O’neal in 2015.

She served faithfully in several ministries to include: Ushers, Food Bank, Nursing Home/Assisted Living, Hospitality, Senior’s Ministry, and Singles Ministry. Ms. Willie was a “bad mamma-jamma”. She was a very strong-willed lover of God whose greatest desire was to have her family and loved ones follow Jesus.

She was very stern and opinionated, as she raised her three children, endured hard trials and lived her life. She loved her game shows, cooking, talking about her children with others, and spending time with her family. She also loved her adopted children, her Bishop and her Koinonia family.

Ms. Willie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harmon Ray Ferguson and William Ferguson; and one sister, Odessa Timmons. She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, John (Dawn) King of Darby, Pennsylvania, Donna Williams of North Brunswick, New Jersey and Karen King of Dunbar, West Virginia; three grandsons and six granddaughters; two sisters, Minnie Dunson of Newark, New Jersey, and Margaret Allen of Greenville, North Carolina; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other family and friends.
