Mr. Willie Manus, 90 of Sparks passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Manus was born July 26, 1927 to the late William Manus and Blanddinie Armstrong Manus. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and retired as a aircraft painter.

Survivors include his children, James (Donna) Boney of Fl, Lillian Miley of Fl, Flo (Ozzie) Guest of Cecil, and Virginia Dhondt of Sparks; grandchildren, Arlene Brady, Kim McPherson, Jason Boney, Charla Boney, Marie Hood, Lynn Rogers, Felicia Guest, and James McCall; several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren; two brothers, L P Manus of Fl and S T Manus of Tn. Mr. Manus was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Manus; son, Charles Boney; granddaughter, Amy Boney; two brothers, J B Manus, and J T Manus; and three sisters, Valerie Slade, Lois Kearce, and Sara Guest. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev.

Gary James officiating. Interment will follow at Brushy Creek Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
