Wilma Dean (Henderson) Johnson, 78, of Channelview, Texas, passed from this life into her heavenly home, on April 23, 2018. She was born July 13, 1939 in Merryville, Louisiana to parents, Robert & Sally Henderson. She was a long time member of Royalwood Pentecostal Church and worked for years in the Wholesale Nursery business.

She is preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Virgil Carl Johnson and by 2 grandchildren, Brandy Johnson and Roger Johnson, II. She is lovingly survived… Read More » by children, Virgil Johnson & wife, Sharon; Bobby Johnson & wife, Belle; Lanell Fuller & husband, John; Steve Johnson & wife, Debbie; and Roger Johnson & wife, Donja; by grandchildren, Virgil, Jr, B.J., Damon, Christina, Darah, Justin, Kisha, Derek, Joshua, Teresa, Courtney, Natalie and Carl; by 19 great-grandchildren; by sister, Sue Storey; as well as by nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends. A visitation will be held at Royalwood Pentecostal Church on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 7-9:00 p.m. with services to celebrate her life on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Macey officiating.

She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Virgil in Magnolia Park Cemetery, in Dayton, Texas under the direction of Carter-Conley Funeral Home.
