Wilma Faye Gregory, age 80, of Dayton, passed away Friday night, March 29, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 20, 1938 in Mayking, KY, the daughter of the late Arthur and Lona (Craft) Thomas. Wilma was also preceded in death by her husband James H. Gregory, Sr., Brothers Orville Thomas and T.J. Thomas, and sister Brenda Poe.

Wilma lived in Sale Creek most of her life until moving to Dayton serval years ago. She was a supervisor at Landreth Manufacturing in Soddy Daisy, where she retired in 1999. Wilma loved flowers, enjoyed gardening, sewing, and going to yard sales and flea markets.

She was of the Church of God faith. She is survived by her two sons, James (Nancy) Gregory, Jr. of Sale Creek and Billy (Judy) Gregory of Dayton; her daughter, Judy (Mike) Stokes of Dayton; her two brothers, Don (Alvarena) Thomas of Sale Creek and Arthur “Glennis” Thomas of Niota; her sister, Nyoka Yearwood of Dayton; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services for Wilma will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.

David Neal and Rev. Jared Wilson officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens next to her husband James.
