OBITUARY Winford Lee Peyton January 6, 1935 – July 22, 2018 Winford Lee Peyton, 83, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away July 23, 2018. A U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, Mr. Peyton was retired from MLGW and the DeSoto County Government. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winford and Merritt Peyton, his sister, Ann Dunlap, and his grandson, Martin Guest “Tripp” Langston III.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Shelby Blackley Peyton, two children, Elizabeth Hope Langston (Marty) and Mark Allen Peyton, one brother, Tony Peyton (Nita), and two sisters, Sis Johnson (Dave) and Ruth Sowell (Ernie). Mr. Peyton is also survived by four grandchildren, Peyton Langston (Audumn), Amanda Robinson (Morgan), Preston Peyton (Erica), and Paige Peyton, five great-grandchildren, Haley Langston, Charlee Beth Langston, Shelby Robinson, Harrison Peyton, and Graham Lyons, as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. The family will receive friends Friday evening July 27, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at Brantley Funeral Home of Olive Branch.

The funeral service will be held Saturday morning July 28, 2018 at 10am also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
