OBITUARY Yoshio “Ted” Yokoyama August 24, 1921 – October 18, 2018 Yokoyama, Yoshio “Ted”, 97 of Largo passed Thursday Oct. 18, 2018. Born August 24, 1921 in Fresno, California he was the son of Tomoyamon and Misao Kawakmi.

Ted served in the US Army and several clubs including Sertoma Club, Elks, American Legion and the Sand Pipers Motor Hoe Club. He worked in a lot of fields including produce farmer, truck driver, car and insurance salesman, poultry specialist, real estate management and realtor, mobile home parks and owner, lawn and garden, lawn and winter snow removal service, bank runner and short order cook. He loved family outings, fishing and boating.

Ted is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Janet of Largo whom he married Sept. 30, 1988; daughter Joyce Rado and her family Sam and Stephanie Rado, Garrett and Zachary Rado, Sandra Ellis Rad/ Renee Ochoa, Ayanna and Gavin Ellis, daughter Kathleen Hales and her family Kelly Hunt and fiancée Joey Schneweiss, Alexis and Kyle Hunt, Seth Shire, Cassie and Logan Shire, Lily Hales and Rick Nowakowski and Nathan Hales; Son Alan Yokoyama and his family Erica Yokoyama, Nathan and Jenny Yokoyama and Clark Yokoyama, four step-children, Chris and Pam Sadler, Risa and Pedro Sequre, Pat and Michael Sadler, Kathleen and Robert Craig. Ted is also survived by 10 Step grandchildren and 23 Step great grandchildren, Sister Dorothy Ikeda, Brother Ben Yokoyama, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by his sister Sally (Wilson) Ishida and Phyllis (Everett) Sasaki and broth George (Margie) Yokoyama. A celebration of Ted’s life will be 1-3 Wednesday Oct 24th at Sylvan Abbey F.H., 2853 Sunset Point Rd. Clearwater, Florida 33759.
