Obituary for Yvonne R. Farmer Yvonne Verdeaner Reese Farmer, 83, widow of R.D. Farmer, passed away April 13, 2018 at the Woodruff Manor. A native of Greer, she was a daughter of the late Ben F. Reese and Ethel Brown Reese, a retired employee of Kemet Electronics and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Donna Kirby of Greer; one sister, Betty Poole of Greer; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was also predeceased by one daughter, Sharon Jackson; one brother, Ben F. Reese, Jr. and one sister, Earline Hawkins. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Ray Mullinax. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 760 Gap Creek Road, Duncan, SC 29334.
