Obituary for Larry K. Kirby Larry Kenith Kirby, 73, passed away April 8, 2018 at the Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Greenville, he was a son of the late Lewis and Grace Sudduth Kirby, founder of Kirby Sanitation and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Brenda Bishop Kirby of the home; one son, Billy Wayne Bishop of Lyman; three daughters, Grace Kirby Russo of Spartanburg, Carrie Ann Kirby of Taylors and Ginger Kirby Sporleder of Greenville; one brother, James Kirby of Taylors; two sisters, Myra Juanita Howard of Taylors and Naomi Jean Green of Greer; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by two brothers, Sonny and Donald Lee Kirby. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Eric Davis.

Visitation will be held 12 Noon until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary prior to the service. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
