Obituary for Martha E. Collins Martha Gena Ellis Collins, 94, widow of Rufus E. Collins, passed away May 20, 2018. A native of Canton, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Noah Franklin and Jesse Wright Ellis, a homemaker and member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Hazel C. Waters (Rev.

Ronald Waters) and Arlene Pack (Ronald); seven grandchildren, Craig Waters (Lisa), April Wilson (Rev. Jeff Wilson), Nathan Waters, Brandon Shehan, Jonathan Pack (Sarah) and Stephen Pack (Julie); sixteen great-grandchild and two great great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Faye C. and Jamie Shehan and one grandson, Shannon Shehan.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Sam Duncan and Rev.

Ronald Waters. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Craig Waters, Nathan Waters, Stephen Pack and Jonathan Pack. The family will be at their respective homes. Online condolences may be made at www.
