Obituary for James R. Duncan Sr. James R. Duncan, Sr., 72, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday morning, May 6, 2018. A native of Tigerville, son of Willie Mae Land Duncan of Inman and the late Ralph Duncan, he was a member of Travelers Rest Community Church. He was a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the best “Pappy” ever.

Surviving are his wife, Ginger Janik Duncan of the home; two sons, Jimmy Duncan (Cherie) of Taylors and Gary Duncan of Easley; two brothers, Don Duncan (Teresa) of High Point, North Carolina and Darrell Duncan (Diane) of Pickens; a sister, Joyce White (David) of Inman; and three grandchildren, Christie Duncan of Taylors, Alex Duncan of Taylors and Chazz Duncan of Easley. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Pastor Rod Wilton and Pastor Bert Watts. Burial will be private.

Pallbearers will be Doug Chappell, Elliot Duncan, Wesley Davis, Gary Holtzclaw, Clark Maxwell and Alex Duncan. Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
