Obituary for Hal D. Goss Hal Dermont Goss, 78, passed away May 24, 2018. A native of Newton, North Carolina, son of the late Pearlie Dermont and Violet Nancy Flowers Goss, he was a U.S. Army Reserves Veteran, retired employee of Biggers Brothers Wholesale Food, former owner and operator of Back Home Cafe and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Sullivan Goss of the home; a son, Jeff Goss of Simpsonville; three step-sons, Scott Brumbaugh of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Brad Brumbaugh of Seattle, Washington and Brian Brumbaugh of Everett, Washington; a sister, Nancy Payseur of Taylors; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
