Obituary for Bob Nestor Robert (Bob) Allen Nestor, 87, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2018. A native of New Plymouth, Idaho, son of the late Emory W. and Gladys Viola Peterson Nestor, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mr. Nestor was a former teacher at Mauldin High School and Bob Jones University, former Public Relations Director at Boys Home of the South and retired from Greenville Technical College in December 2015.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy Jean Yarbro Nestor of the home; a son, Brent Nestor of Taylors; a daughter, Lori J. Shrock (Mike) of Greenville; and a grandson, Drew Shrock. Mr. Nestor was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Karen Nestor. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 in M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:45-10:45 a.m. Friday at the church. Online condolences may be made at www.
