Obituary for Zachary Paul Whitman Zachary Paul Whitman passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was born at 4:45 AM on April 14th, 1987, at North Memorial Hospital, Robbinsdale, Minnesota in Hennepin County. Zak (as he was most fondly called) was a stay at home father, he loved his girls.

They were his sun, moon and stars. Zak loved spending time with family and friends, idolized his Uncle Ed. He had a passion for guns and shooting guns of all sorts.

Zak loved driving anything with a motor, fast and loved being in the woods and on the lake. Zak was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Corky (Kenneth C.) and Doris Morff, and paternal grandfather George Whitman. He is survived by his daughters, Emma Marie Swire, Claire Ayla Anne and Alivia Leigh Whitman; partner, Megan Munroe; mother, Cory Morff-Whitman and father, Douglas George Whitman; sisters, Holly (Courtney), Kelly (Josh), and Caitlin (Ryan); paternal grandmother, Jean and Dan Nierngarten;, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and very good friends.

A special mention and thank you to Zak’s friends, Aaron Nordrum and Paul Eklund. A celebration of life will be held at 304 15th Street East on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 1pm to 5pm. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Zachary Paul Whitman please visit our Sympathy Store.
