GREENS FORK, Ind. – Aaron Wade Chandler, age 46, a beloved husband, father, Big G, son, brother, uncle, friend, bandmate, and coach, passed away February 9, 2019, after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma. Born February 11, 1972, to Morris “Bud” Chandler and Elaine Walton, Aaron lived most of his life in Indiana, except for the nine years he spent in Florida.

Aaron graduated from Centerville High School in 1990. “A.C.” was known in musician circles for his friendliness and incredible drumming. He was also an expert craftsman, working construction much of his life and, after his diagnosis, devoting many hours to woodworking, DIY projects, and most recently, metal works.

Aaron was an old soul, who believed that you learn more by listening than speaking. When he spoke, it was because he had something to say. Friends and family will miss the reserved, quick-witted, and steadfast man, who was always there when they needed him.

In keeping with Aaron’s generous spirit, his family has honored his decision to donate his corneas to offer someone else the gift of sight. He leaves behind in loving memory his wife, Lisa Abbott Chandler; three daughters, Madison Chandler, Kylie Brown, and Karyssa Brown; son, Jaron Chandler; three sisters, Katie Chandler, Kim Siler, and Bobbie Lynne Walton; two brothers, Derek Walton and Matthew Abbott; stepmother, Diane Chandler; stepfather, Bob Walton; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends, including two special dudes who were there through thick and thin, Barney Sandifar and Chay Stout. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
