Obituary for Abraham L. Quijano Beloved son, kuya, uncle, cousin, tito and a great friend passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 44 years. Son of Abraham P. and Nena (Ladaga) Quijano, Abraham was born November 18, 1974 in Cebu City, Philippines and came to the United States June of 1984.

He was a Home Health Care Physical Therapist who really cared for his patients. Abraham was a member of the Catholic Faith. He loved to travel around the world meeting new people and trying different foods.

He also enjoyed cars and was an avid sports fan. Surviving to cherish his memory are his parents, Abraham and Nena Quijano, Philippines; his sister, Rose Leah and Thomas Love, Tampa, Florida; his brother, Per Andy and Thea Mae Quijano and their children, Teodore Andres Quijano and Terese Nina Quijano, Dexter, Michigan; several aunts, uncles, cousins, his Tri-city family and the Las Tigas Boys. A special thank you to the staff of Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Neuro-Trauma ICU and E.R. nurse Diane for the love and care they provided.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St., Saginaw. Rev. Fr.

Richard Bokinskie will officiate. Honoring Abraham’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral, 3775 N. Center Rd.

(between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Covenant HealthCare Foundation Trauma Fund.
