Ada Marie Beachy, 76, of Grantsville, MD, died Friday, December 7, 2018, at WMHS Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born April 11, 1942, in Springs, PA, she was the daughter of the late Allen & Lizzie (Tice) Yoder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Dale Beachy, May 31, 2003; three brothers, Owen, Edwin and Elvin Yoder and two sisters, Alta Killius and Anna Catherine Yoder.

Ada was a member of Oak Grove Mennonite Church and was retired from the housekeeping department at Goodwill Mennonite Home. Surviving are one son, Robert Beachy and friend, Eliza Rubic, San Diego, CA; two daughters, Ruth Georg and husband, Chad, Hagerstown, MD; Rachel Sleasman and husband, Jeremy, Grantsville; five brothers, Vernon Yoder, Warren, OH; Lloyd Yoder, Somerset, PA; Eli Yoder, Easley, SC; Paul Yoder, Bittinger, MD; Mark Yoder, Canon City, CO; one sister, Evelyn Yoder, Grantsville and five grandchildren, Emilee Beachy, Christan Georg, Alexis Beachy, Brooke Sleasman and Neil Sleasman. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville on Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, December 17, 2018, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tim Fetterly officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad or Oak Grove Mennonite Church.
