Obituary for Adelia Faye Slack Adelia Faye Slack, 98, Holden Missouri, passed away April 28, 2018 at her home. Adelia (Deedy) was born Jan 13, 1920 to Fred and Nell Snow. She grew up in the Elm community and Lamar, Missouri area.

Adelia married T.J. Slack in 1940 in Peculiar, Missouri. They spent their married life on their dairy farm in Pittsville, Missouri. She was a member of the Pittsville Extension Club for many years.

Adelia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Lucy Mae Davis and one brother, Forrest Snow. She is survived by her children, Mary and husband Leslie Hamlin; Tom and Wife Linda Slack; Nancy and husband Don Lawson; Jeanie and husband Gordon Jones; Shirley and husband Herb Shaw. ten grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice or Cobb Cemetery in care of the funeral home. Visitation will be Friday May 4, 2018 at 10:00am at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home with services following the visitation at 11:00am.
