Obituary for Adoria I. Potter Adoria I. Potter 67, passed away on Tuesday January 8th at Ellis Hospital with family by her side. Born and educated in Schenectady, Adoria was the daughter of the late Francis and Florence (Marx) Potter. A former housekeeper with the Glendale Nursing Home and the Avenue Nursing Home, Adoria enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word search, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Adoria is survived by her children; Todd Potter(Tanya Topka) and Tonya Potter both of Schenectady, her grandchildren; Desiraee Hager, Krystal Potter and Megan Potter, her siblings; Francis Potter (Antoinette) of Duanesburg, Joyce Kelly of Halfmoon, Christine Potter and Sharon Valachovic both of Schenectady, her dear friend;Juan Lopez of Schenectady, her best friends;Diane Parker and Bernadette Torra as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Afternoon January 15th at 12:30 pm at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 am to 12:30 pm prior to the funeral service.

Interment will be in Park View Cemetery in Schenectady, NY Contributions may be made in Adoria’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Albany, NY 12205 or to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1 Marcus Blvd.
