Alan Clay Lackey, 21, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was born in Forsyth Co. on March 3, 1998 the son of Tommy Lee Lackey and Sandra Elizabeth Martin. Alan was a kind soul who loved his family, friends and animals.

He never met a stranger and will be missed deeply by all who knew him. Alan is survived by his mother, Sandra “Sandy” Martin of Pinnacle; his father, Tommy Lackey (Rhonda) of Rural Hall; the love of his life, Kamryn Rawlings of King; his maternal grandparents, David and Frances Vaught of Woodlawn, VA; his paternal grandmother, Alice Lackey of King; five brothers, Justin, Chad, Clay, Nick and Nathan; and nine nieces and nephews, Riley, Cayden, Emma, Scotty, Danny, Haley, Caydence, Caly and Kennedy. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.

A visitation celebrating Alan’s life will be held from 6:00-8:00 Friday, May 24, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to: Stokes County Animal Shelter in Alan’s memory.
