Alan Dale Hanhilammi, 63 of Plymouth Township died Wednesday (Dec. 12th) at his home. He was born January 28, 1955 in Ashtabula the son of Carl and Gertrude (Lewis) Hanhilammi and has been a lifetime area resident.

He was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and attended Kent State University. Alan was an Engineer with Conrail railroad and then with Norfolk Southern railroad. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening farming, hunting and raising his cows and chickens.

Surviving him is his wife, Daniela (Marin) Hanhilammi whom he married June 11, 1996; two daughters, Traci Hanhilammi of Florida and Jessi Hanhilammi at home; and a sister, Gail (Tim) Ecklund of Ashtabula. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Keith M. Hanhilammi. A funeral service will be Monday December 17 at 11:00 am at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd.

Ashtabula with Alisa Nierzejewski, Certified Celebrant officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Plymouth Township. Visitation will be Sunday December 16 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
