Albert Alvertis Jennings, 62, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. Albert was born on July 11, 1956, and was the sixth child of the late Simpson Jennings and Inez Hodge Jennings. At an early age, Albert was baptized while a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church.

He graduated from Oneonta High School in 1974 and enlisted in the National Guard shortly after graduating. He later transitioned to serve proudly for the United States Army for 18 years. After retirement from the Army, Albert obtained his CDL and began driving trucks.

Dedicated to his career, Albert would often stay on the road for weeks at a time traveling across the country and Canada. In 1978 he married Sandra Holston and to their union was born one child, Alvin Terrell Jennings. An avid reader, Albert spent hours reading magazines, books, and had a love for History.

He had a passion for luxurious motorcycles and fast sports cars. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, humble spirit, and generous heart. Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Simpson Jennings and Inez Hodge Jennings and eldest brother Karon Waites, Sr

He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Alvin Terrell Jennings (Tessa), four adorning grandchildren, Hezeki, Ayanna, Aaliyah, and Elijah Jennings and one handsome great grandson, Cashton, of Oneonta, Alabama. He is also survived by his siblings; Willie (Sherry), Harold (Billie June), Sandra, Mae, Chester, Sheila, Wanda, Darlene (Ron), and Kris and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
