OBITUARY Albert Smith Rusk October 7, 1959 – October 23, 2018 Albert Rusk, 59, of Fulton, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton.

The family will receive guests from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the funeral home. Albert was born October 7, 1959, the son of Virgil Dixon Rusk and Martha Elizabeth (Smith) Rusk who preceded him in death. He graduated from Fulton High School in 1978.

He was a loyal and dedicated employee at numerous places of employment including Mattinglys, Modern Farm Equipment, Zemp Tire Service, Dri Con, Fulton State Hospital and AZZ. He was a wonderful and loving son and along with his brother Jim, took care of their mother in the home until her death in 2012. He was an active part of the lives of his nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a regular at Bennett Springs along with his mother, brother, and frequently his nephews. Albert is survived by two sisters, Janice Slominsky of Louisiana, Missouri and Elizabeth (Lin) Brooks of Fulton and brother, James Rusk of the home. He is also survived by two nieces, Kim Brooks of Kansas City and Rebecca (Lance) Quick of Fulton, and two nephews, Justin (Jodi) Slominsky of Appleton, Wisconsin and Matthew (Michelle) Slominsky of Nixa, Missouri; ten great-nieces and nephews, Shella Robertson, Canon Farley, Donna and Tyler Zack, Addie, Katie, Ben and Erin Slominsky and Miles and Maurah Slominsky and a special friend April Adams of Fulton.

He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law Robert Slominsky.
