Obituary for Aldo Antonio Rosa Aldo Antonio Rosa, 74 of Naples, FL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 9, 2018 at home. Aldo moved to Naples in 1996 with his wife and two children from Chester NJ. He was born on November 27, 1943 in La Spezia, Italy son of the late Giovanni and Teresa (Re) Rosa and immigrated to Brooklyn, NY at the age of 4.

Mr. Rosa served in the United States Army Reserves and became a tenacious Commodity Trader and President of ALCO Commodities in New York City, Zurich and Lugano. He served on boards including the Commodity Exchange NYC and was a founding member of the Windows of the World in the World Trade Center. As an avid golfer, friend and member of Quail Creek Country Club he enjoyed his golf buddies.

Aldo had a passion for building model boats and more importantly spending time with his wife and children. Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years, Cynthia (Carafa) Rosa; his children Daniella and Marc Anthony Rosa (Elle) and from a prior marriage Alexandria Carrubba, Adrianna Onori, and AJ Rosa; sister, Ersilia Howe and two grandchildren. Aldo was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, John and Ernesta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Avenue N., Naples FL 34108. Burial will follow in the church memorial garden. Memorial contributions in Aldo’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
