Obituary for Alejandro Francisco Gomez Alejandro “Alex” F. Gomez, 68, a resident of Houma, passed away on September 27, 2018. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 9am to 12pm, with the memorial service to start at 11am, at First Baptist Church of Houma. He is survived by his wife, Eula V. Gomez; children, Eric Fitch, Julius J. Feet and companion Sally, Sandra Feet and companion Gino, Lisa Pitre and husband Steve, Katina McElroy and husband Jude, Brian Fitch, Anita Fitch and companion Trent; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Art Gomez and wife Jennifer, Fernando Gomez and Carlos Gomez; aunts, Carol Henzie and companion Billy, and Grace Gomez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando Gomez Garcia and Mary Henzie De Gomez; grandchildren, Chasidie Francis, Angel Feet, and Brett Feet. Alex was a U.S. Veteran, who served in the Vietnam War, a retired boat captain, and a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and was a very generous and loving person.
