Obituary for Alexander J. Poulos Alexander J. Poulos, 48, of Kew Gardens, NY, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 9, 2018. Born May 3, 1970, he is the son of Mary Poulos-Levine and the late John Poulos. Alex was a graduate of Richmond High School and the New York Institute of Technology.

An engineer by trade, Alex also played the drums. He was an avid New York Yankees and Jets fan. He is also survived by his aunt, Rosemarie Guele, 4 cousins and 3 great cousins.

Alex will always be fondly remembered by his family and his friends, and especially his girlfriend, Trudi Schuster Nolan. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10312.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018, at St. Clare Church located at 110 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308.
