Alfred A. Forte 98, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of South Pasadena, FL and NYC. Died on Feb. 9, 2019.

He was born on Dec. 30, 1920 to the late Joseph and Frances (nee Trezza) Forte in NYC. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII.

Alfred worked for A&P Supermarkets in Bronx, N.Y. as a meat cutter. He is survived by his devoted wife, Angelina Mary (nee Buonocore) Forte of Thornwood, N.Y. and by his loving children, Vincent (Ann) Forte of Sun City, FL and Janet Monaco of Thornwood, N.Y. Also survived by his five cherished grandsons, Jeffrey Forte, Anthony, Steven, Louis Monaco and five great grand children and a sister, Carmela Galante. Predeceased by his son in law, Anthony Monaco in 2017 and by his five brothers and one sister.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Sisters of Charity, 6301 Riverdale Ave.
