Barbara DeAngelis passed away peacefully at her home on February 5, 2019 at the age of 87. Barbara was born Barbara Louise Spagnolo on January 16, 1932 to Helen and Fred Spagnolo. She graduated from Yonkers High School in 1949, and went to art school at the then Phoenix School of Design in New York City.

She married Vincent DeAngelis on December 1, 1957. Barbara worked in the advertising field before moving to Valhalla in 1964. Barbara went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Purchase College in the early 1980s.

Barbara is predeceased by her husband Vincent, and is survived by her two daughters, Janet Andrews and Elizabeth Kennedy, her two sons-in-laws, David Andrews and Timothy Kennedy, and five grandchildren: Aidan Andrews, Caroline Andrews, William Kennedy, Annie Kennedy, and Jessica Kennedy. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM.

Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY to follow.
