Obituary for Alfred M Knapp Alfred Knapp of Bolingbrook, age 89, passed away peacefully on June 21st, 2018 at RML Specialty Hospital. Born on November 9th, 1928, Alfred was the son of William and Henrietta (Venhuizen). Alfred worked as a truck driver and owned and operated several business ventures.

He enjoyed photography, playing cards, and speaking to people around the world by CB radio. Alfred enlisted and proudly served in the Army through WWII and Korea, and was a proud member of the VFW. Alfred is survived by his beloved wife Wanda (Kelley), his brothers Theodore and Wayne, his sister Mae, his children Bart, Bob, Charles Bill, Cheryl, David, Jack, Kathy, Michael, and William, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Gerald and William, and his sisters Angeline, Henrietta Catherine, and Wilma Alberta. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wounded Warriors Project appreciated. Click on the link below to donate.
