Alice A. Leis OTTOVILLE – Alice A. Leis, 94, of Ottoville, died 6:35 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018 at The Meadows of Kalida. She was born April 25, 1924 in Delphos to the late John and Leona (Brickner) Pohlman. In June 1947, she married Hubert Leis and he died in March of 2002.

Survivors include two children: Karen (Don) Wagner of Continental and Mike (Kim) Leis of Ottoville; six grandsons: Dan (Betty) Wagner, Keith (Trisha) Wagner, Jeremy (Missy) Leis, Darren (Amanda) Leis, Kevin (Pam) Leis and Jason (Jill) Leis; sixteen great-grandchildren: James Kent, Damian (Alexis) Fraley, Kurt Wagner, Ben Wagner, Keagen Leis, Alayna Leis, Grant Leis, Alex Leis, Joe Leis, Karlee Leis, Brody Leis, Connor Leis, Harper Leis, Gavin Leis, Evan Leis and Josie Leis; and two great great-grandchildren: Harlee Brinkman and Jordan Kent. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gene Pohlman; and a sister, Betty Burgei. Alice was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville and its Altar Rosary Society.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville with Fr. Jerome Schetter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Twp. with a scripture service at 1:45 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be expressed at www.
