Cannelton, Indiana Alice G. Hinton, 88, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2018 with her family by her side, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on January 6, 1930 to the late Norman and Nelda (Huck) Kreisle. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Charles “Ralph” Hinton in 2011; her infant son, Dale Vernon Hinton; a great grandson, Samuel Rae Scott; sisters, Mary Emma Kreisle, Grace Brumfield and Minnie Reynolds; brothers, Frederick “Fritz”, Leroy and Cletus Kreisle.

Alice retired from General Electric. She was a former 4-H Leader and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and crafting. Surviving are her children, Cynthia Brown (Paul), Cannelton, Linda Embry (Dale), Hawesville, KY, Charles Hinton (Lisa), Cannelton and Clint Hinton (Vicky), Tell City; a brother, Robert Kreisle, Rockport; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Scott, Joshua Scott, Randy Howe, Heidi Dixon, Mindy Howard, Charles E. “Charlie” Hinton, April Embry, Dustin Hinton and Cody Hinton; 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Deer Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
