Alice’s Obituary Alice M. Gross of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday evening after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 92. She was a member of the Athens Chapter OES #97 and the Darlington Christian Church.

She worked at CEL& P for over 30 years, retiring from there. She was a great artist that loved drawing and also was an avid reader that enjoyed puzzles. Born April 7, 1927 north of Shannondale, she was the daughter of Raydo Endicott and Pearl Love Endicott.

She attended school at Darlington. She married Paul Gross on June 1, 1985 and he passed away June 21, 2009. Surviving family includes: sons, David Riggins (Janiece), Larry R. Riggins (Joy); daughter, Paula Newton (Chuck); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sons Terry J. Riggins, Ross N. Riggins and daughter, Patty K. Spier There will not be a public visitation or service. Her family will hold a private graveside service at Shannondale Cemetery, led by Pastor Dean Kronke. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alice Gross may be made to the Darlington Christian Church, P.O. Box 68, Darlington, IN 47940 or the American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Ste.
