Alice Irene Palmer, 76, of Wapakoneta passed away at 9:55 p.m. Saturday January 12, 2019 at Otterbein, Cridersville. She was born in New Hampshire on May 11, 1942 to Carnott & Ilo (Mann) Myers who preceded her in death. She was married to Keith A. Palmer for 32 years and he passed on December 6, 2012.

Survivors include 7 children; Dawn (Greg) Johns of Wapakoneta, Steve Hayes of Lakeview, Brenda (Rob) Hughes of New Knoxville, Amanda (Jennifer) Chiles of Vandalia, Greg Palmer of Lima, Kenny (Crystal) Palmer of Prudenville, MI, Mike (Patti) Palmer of Miamisburg; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Esther Shipp, Mary Mertz; 2 brothers Bill Myers and Tom Myers. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; Jessica Palmer, Eric Hayes and 2 brothers Junior Myers and Dean Myers. She was a 1960 graduate of Waynesfield Goshen High School.

She enjoyed quilting, gardening and cooking. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday January 17, 2019 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Rev. Daniel Messner officiating.

Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire. Friends may call from 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Auglaize County Human Society.
