Alice Mae Kohlman (Maeder), age 88 years, of West Bend was called home to be with our Lord on September 4, 2018 at Serenity Villa in Slinger. Alice was born on March 20, 1930 in West Bend to Oswald and Dorothy Maeder (Rowe). Alice was a long-time member at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend and was an active member of St. John’s Ladies Aid.

She loved the Lord and her family. Those Alice leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Bonnie (Russell) Sommer, Kay Parry and Terry (Gail) Kohlman; three grandchildren, David (Lindsay), Emma (Benaiah), and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Dominic, Donovan and Devin. Further survived by siblings, Lucille Koenig and Clifford (Rosemarie) Maeder; brother-in-law, Richard (Angie) Teschendorf and a host of other friends and relatives.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kohlman, siblings, Victor (Frances) Maeder and Susanne Teschendorf. Funeral Service for Alice will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Myrhum Patten Miller Kietzer Funeral Home (1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor David Kellerman officiating. Inurnment at Washington County Memorial Park.

Alice’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 pm until the time of service. Alice’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Serenity Villa for the loving care they provided. The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home of West Bend has been entrusted with Alice’s arrangements.
