BRAINTREE – Alice Mary (Hines) Sheehan of Braintree, age 91, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2018, after a brief illness. Daughter of Richard and Marion Hines of Rockland, she became a nurse, devoted wife and mother, and active church member. She was a great lover of music, singing, nature, and helping others.

Alice is survived by her husband James T. to whom she was married for 59 years, son Richard J., daughter Maura J. (Giles), son James, brother Richard, and grandson Jason M. Giles. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Russell – Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Chapels, in Braintree, at 516 Washington St. on Thursday November 1st, 2018 from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass in her honor will be held at the St. Clare Catholic Church at 1244 Liberty St, Braintree, MA, celebrated by Father Paul Clifford, on FRIDAY November 2nd, from 9 to 10:00 AM with burial to follow at 10:30 at the Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland, MA, at 92 Centre Ave, Rockland, MA 02370.
