MONTVILLE ALICE M. ORFF, 83, passed away September 28, 2018, at her residence in Montville. She was born December 27, 1934, in North Union, Maine to Leroy and Geneva (Mears) Luce. She could be found in the strawberry fields at Orff Berry Farm in Montville.

Family and friends enjoyed the sweet treats she made. Alice enjoyed singing and yodeling. She loved her husband and loved spending time with him.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Orff of Montville; daughter Dawn Laukka and husband Kevin; grandchildren Stephanie Lunt and husband Brian, Belinda Shorey and husband Sam, Tammy Stewart and husband Randy, and Alisha Pendleton; seven great-grandchildren including a special great-grandson, Jacob Lunt. Alice is also survived by a host of loving brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be held from 4p.m. to 6p.m. Thursday October 4th at Riposta Funeral home, Belfast where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 5th. Burial will follow at Levensellar Cemetery in Washington, Maine. A gathering of food and fellowship will follow the burial at the Evening Star Grange Hall, 130-40 Old Union Road Washington Maine 04574.
