Alice R. ‘Doll’ O’Toole Tressler, 101, of Indiana, PA formerly of Monessen, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Bethany Place, Indiana. Born November 1, 1917 in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine E. Crowe O’Toole. A resident of Monessen for her first 80 years she later resided in Baden with her daughter and son in law.

She was a member of the former St. Leonard’s parish in Monessen until its closing and was a homemaker. Alice enjoyed hosting the holiday dinners for the family, was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan and longtime fan and supporter of Monessen Greyhound sports. Alice also enjoyed going to her daughters gymnastic meets in college and was faithful in praying the rosary daily with Sister Angelica on TV.

She is survived by son & daughter in law Martin R. & Kathy Tressler of Blairsville; two daughters & sons in law Patricia & Dennis Urchick of Portage, IN, Bonnie & Robert Besong of Baden; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters Patty Ostetrico of Monessen, Gert Zoretich of Bentleyville; son in law John Terry Yeager, DeLand FL and numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin R. Tressler; daughter Janet Yeager; seven brothers infant Michael O’Toole, Martin, John, Thomas, Robert, Donald, Joey O’Toole; three sisters Ellen Glaspey, Catherine Bernardcheck and Josephine Riaggotti. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 – 11 am at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183 followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM with the Rev.

William Lechnar of Indiana, PA officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Alice R. Tressler to the charity of your choice.
