Obituary for Brian Roberts Brian Roberts, 57, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. A son of Jennie McGowan Roberts who survives and resides in Fairhope and the late Douglas Roberts, he was born on April 13, 1961. Brian was a member of the First Christian Church of Fayette City, the Russian Club in Pricedale, the Arnold City PNA, and the Belle Vernon Musical Society.
A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Brian had been employed by Union 798, retiring in 2016. He enjoyed hunting and golfing. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Connie Scalise Roberts, who he married on May 26, 2013, two daughters and a son-in-law; Chelsea and Scottie Ross of Rostraver Twp.
and Casey Roberts of Belle Vernon, two step-children; Theresa Roskovich and her fiance Dennis Boehm of Pittsburgh and Michael Roskovich serving in the U.S. Airforce in North Carolina, a brother a sister-in-law, William and Tracie Roberts of Rostraver Twp. , seven grandchildren; Blaine Roberts, Talia Ross, McKenna Ross, Dominic Boehm, Kameron Anderson, Zaryah Anderson, and Nysiah Anderson, two nieces; Rita Conti and Autumn Roberts, four nephews; Preston Williams, Daniel Conti, Joshua Scalise, and Seth Roberts, his mother-in-law, Sara Scalise of Rostraver Twp. , a sister-in-law, Elaine Conti of Rostraver Twp.
, a brother-in-law, Tony Scalise of Ashville, NC, and his former wife, Julie Monack of Belle Vernon. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela K. Williams on March 19, 2018 and a stepdaughter, Sarah M. Houseman on August 2, 2017. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 9 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon.
