William D. Anderson, 86, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, December 28, 2018. Born in Pricedale on January 15, 1932, he was the son of the late Bernard and Margaret (Hissom) Anderson. Bill was a steelworker, having worked at the Irvin Works and retiring from the Fairless Hills Steel Mill.

He was a longtime member of the Rostraver Sportsmen’s and Conservation Association and he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia H. (Lorenzo) Anderson; sons, William D. Anderson Jr./Deborah Hammel and Ralph (Dorothy) Anderson; and grandchildren, Danielle, Michael and Ian. Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.
