Joseph G. ‘The Waterman’ Dzurko, 77, of Charleroi, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born April 12, 1941 in N. Charleroi, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Mary Staretz Dzurko. A lifelong resident of Charleroi, Mr. Dzurko was Catholic by faith and was retired from Municipal Authority of Belle Vernon and also drove bus for Hilltop Bus Lines.

He was a member of the Pricedale Russian Club, Charleroi Slovak Club and was a social member of the Charleroi American Legion Post 22. He is survived by his wife Regina Murphy Dzurko to whom he was married 47 years, two sons & daughters in law Joseph V. & Amy M. Dzurko of Charleroi, Michael A. & Amy L. Dzurko of Avella; granddaughter Sarah Dzurko; brother Edward Dzurko of Monessen and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his infant brother Dennis Dzurko Per Joe’s request funeral services were private for the family.
