Alyce Daniel, 86, faithful servant of the Lord, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Anson. Alice’s wishes were cremation and a memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Orient St. Church of Christ with Wes Horn officiating. Alyce was born October 8, 1931 in Oklahoma, the daughter of the late John R. and Dora (Coburn) Wallace.

She married Carl Wayne Daniel on November 30, 1951 in Villa Acuna, Mexico and they made their home in Stamford, Texas. Carl preceded… Read More » her in death on October 20, 2015. Alyce owned and operated a children’s daycare many years.

She loved working with and taking care of children. Alyce liked to attend the Stamford V.I.P. Center and visiting with everyone. She was an active and faithful member of Orient St. Church of Christ, where you would usually find her helping in the kitchen.

Preceding Alyce in death were her parents; her husband; and brothers and sisters. Alyce is survived by a son, Tracy Daniel and wife Patti of Stamford; grandsons, Christopher Daniel of Stamford, William Walton of Abilene; granddaughter, Jennifer Englert of Abilene; great granddaughters, Tennie Daniel of Stamford, N’Kole Walton of Ft. Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
